Kevin Durant has mild calf strain as Warriors, Knicks mostly exhale

Kevin Durant's right calf strain has unsurprisingly caused a drastic shift in the National Basketball Association playoffs betting market and could produce a different championship favorite for the first time all season. The superstar forward will be re-evaluated next week, meaning he will miss the conclusion of the Western Conference semis, which the Warriors lead 3-2.

If it's a Grade 1 strain, then Durant is likely out for the rest of the playoffs if they advance.

Durant's injury came with 2:11 left in the third quarter as he went up for a jumper over Rockets swingman Iman Shumpert.
