Having emerged victorious from the Great War against the Night King and his army of the undead, those who survived now grapple with the next battle against Cersei Lannister in King's Landing. Clarke has warned us while promoting the series on Jimmy Kimmel.

"The Battle of Winterfell" was the most hyped episode of Game of Thrones ever, but tonight's episode had a lot more substance. With both ominously saying they're not planning on coming back from their trip to King's Landing, it seems like this duo is ready to risk it all to truly fulfill their goal.

With three episodes left, fans are scrambling for clues on whether the warlord of the dead might still be alive to bring about an eternal night and wipe out mankind altogether. According to Thrones novelist George RR Martin, we shouldn't be so quick to write the others off just yet. Death has been such a major part of the show, and we've been promised the bloodiest season yet, but somehow only a small handful of major characters perished in the biggest battle the show has ever seen. But there's one moment that made so much sense that we recognized and welcomed it the minute we realized it was about to happen: Brienne and Jaime's love scene.

There are five different concepts being developed, and Martin says that three of them are "moving forward nicely". "Like in season six, [episodes nine and ten] were to me one thing".

Now, the HBO show's stunt co-ordinator Rowley Irlan has revealed there are plenty more deaths to come in the final episodes.

North Korea criticizes Pompeo over comments on nuke talks
The move comes as talks have stalled between Washington and Pyongyang on the North's denuclearization. The summit between Putin and Kim has also boosted Russia's stature in China, Japan and South Korea.

"Maybe they were happy with what I did in season five".

Earlier, the first episode of the eighth and final season was released on DirecTV Now four hours before it was supposed to air. And that's really all we're asking for, weirdly.

Overall, Game of Thrones has done a tremendous job protecting season 8 spoilers from leaking from the set and from HBO itself.
