Police vehicles sit outside Columbine high school as some Denver area schools have closed while police search for an armed woman "infatuated" with Columbine, days ahead of the school shooting's 20th anniversary, in Littleton, Colorado, U.S., April 17, 2019.

Sol Pais, a high school pupil, made threats online and then flew from her home in Miami Beach, Florida to Denver, Colorado, where Columbine is located.

Pais' parents last saw her on Sunday and reported her missing to Florida authorities on Monday night, Surfside police said.

"The shadow of Columbine looms large in [Jefferson County]", John McDonald, the executive director of the department of school safety of Jefferson County said at a press conference Wednesday afternoon.

Authorities were called to the scene after a hiker spotted the woman running naked in the area with a gun.

She made undisclosed threats, officials said, prompting numerous Denver-area schools to close on Wednesday as a precaution.

While the Draft takes place on April 25th, general manager Steve Keim says a decision has yet to be made on who they'll take. The draft wouldn't be near as fun if you knew who every team was going to pick before they did so.

Phillips said that "because of her comments and actions to travel here to the state and because of her procurement of a weapon immediately upon arriving here-we immediately consider her to be a credible threat, certainly to the community and potentially to schools".

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation said Sol Pais traveled to Colorado from Miami on Monday night and bought a pump-action shotgun and ammunition.

After the manhunt was over, Police Chief Julio Yero asked that the family be given "privacy and a little time to grieve".

After the 18-year-old came to Colorado on Monday, she purchased a pump-action shotgun and ammunition and went to the foothills, where she was last seen, Phillips said.

"She lived in Surfside, not Miami Beach, and I used to have art class with her". Investigators are continuing to comb her social media and map her activity to determine whether she worked with any accomplices, Phillips said.

"There is no imminent or immediate threat to Miami-Dade Schools", he said.

Pochettino admitted he is "not optimistic" Alli will feature on Saturday after the midfielder fractured his hand in two parts. Eric Dier (hip), Erik Lamela and Serge Aurier (both hamstring) are still out.

"Those two things combined with her fascination of Columbine - that's pretty clear and convincing evidence that she was a threat to the school", he said.

Two students at the school opened fire and killed 13 people - 12 students and one teacher - before killing themselves.

Schools in the Denver area were shut down Wednesday because of the threats. They later said that Pais was no longer a threat.

"It's unnerving. Parents I know are very, very anxious about this", said Jim Earley, 50, the father of 13-year-old twins who attend Mandalay Middle School, located about a 20-minute drive north from Columbine High School in the sprawling Jefferson County School District.
