The meeting happened on the same day Trump criticized Twitter, accusing the social media company of being "very discriminatory", playing "political games" and not treating him "well as a Republican".

Trump tweeted that he had a "great meeting" with Dorsey and that he wants to keep an "open dialogue" with the tech executive.

Trump, who often announces policy changes on Twitter, tweeted to complain that the platform was making it hard for people to sign on and removing some of his followers.

Many Democrats Are Wary of Going the Impeachment Route - Not Elizabeth Warren
When Trump was asked in August if he had considered dismissing Mueller, he told reporters he hadn't "given it any thought".

The meeting, which was organised by the White House last week, came hours after Trump again attacked the social media company over allegations it is biased against conservatives.

"We enforce the Twitter Rules dispassionately and equally for all users, regardless of their background or political affiliation".

Trump tweeted that numerous topics were discussed, including "the world of social media in general". And so, Stone did what many frustrated Twitter users do: he used the platform to make his displeasure known.

More Cases of Measles Reported in NY
Standard symptoms of the measles include a high fever along with cough, runny nose and runny eyes. Sixty-eight of the 71 new cases confirmed last week took place in the state of NY .

Twitter said in a statement Dorsey had a "constructive meeting with the president of the United States today at the president's invitation. Very discriminatory", he said, and called for "more, and fairer, companies", in an apparent reference to US lawmakers' interest in regulating tech companies.

"Things are happening, names are taken off, people aren't getting through, you've heard the same complaints and it seems to be if they are conservative, if they're Republicans, if they're in a certain group there's discrimination and big discrimination", Trump said.

Twitter Inc on Tuesday posted better-than-expected quarterly revenue and a surprise rise in monthly active users. In 2011 he moderated a Twitter town hall with President Barack Obama, but it was the first time he met Trump. There is also no evidence to suggest that Twitter is "constantly taking people off list", as Trump argued. Apparently, and unsurprisingly, a "significant portion of the meeting focused on Trump's concerns that Twitter quietly, and deliberately, has limited or removed some of his followers".

Trump's Iran oil sanctions risk Asian reprisals
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said no more waivers will be issued on sanctions aimed at isolating the Islamic Republic. The official said the administration is now looking at ways to prevent Iran from circumventing existing oil sanctions.

Soon after Twitter earnings hit the tape, the company's most famous user opined and appeared to give himself some credit for Twitter's success. Must be more, and fairer, companies to get out the WORD!
