Multiple People Injured At California Synagogue Shooting

One person was killed and three others were wounded in the shooting at the Poway synagogue, authorities said Saturday.

"Best I can tell you at this point is that we had four folks with gunshot wounds, we do have one fatality", Poway Mayor Steve Vaus said.

In Los Angeles, police said they were closely monitoring the synagogue shooting in Poway and "communicating with our local, state and federal partners".

It is being advised to stay clear of the area to allow deputies to investigate. "We're looking into digital evidence and checking the authenticity of an online manifesto", the department said in a tweet.
