US Senator and Democratic presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren has urged the House of Representatives to initiate an impeachment process against President Donald Trump for the "severity" of the revelations included in Special Counsel Robert Mueller's Russian Federation report.
On Friday, Warren tweeted that the "severity of [the president's] misconduct demands that elected officials in both parties set aside political considerations and do their constitutional duty".
Giuliani lashed out at Senator Mitt Romney, a former Republican presidential candidate who on Friday said he was "sickened" by the report's findings and "appalled" that Trump's election campaign "welcomed help from Russian Federation". The report, however, could not reach a conclusion as to whether President Donald Trump obstructed justice, although it did document several attempts by Trump to influence the Special Counsel investigation.
The Democratic 2020 presidential candidate said impeachment is warranted because of evidence presented in special counsel Robert Mueller's redacted report, which was released on Thursday.
"If we had confidence after a thorough investigation of the facts that the President clearly did not commit obstruction of justice, we would so state".
When Trump was asked in August if he had considered dismissing Mueller, he told reporters he hadn't "given it any thought".
Schiff, who has previously echoed Pelosi's position, said Sunday that he had not made up his mind about the "very consequential" issue but again warned that "an impeachment would be unsuccessful if the Republican Party continues to place party above country, continues essentially to back the president no matter how unethical or dishonest his conduct may be".
"You know I hear a lot of people say that they're exhausted of hearing about the Mueller Report".
Schiff said Sunday that he maintains that the inquiry has uncovered obstruction of justice that is "more significant than Watergate".
After the publication of the report on the Russian Federation affair, the US Democrats struggle to find a strategy to further deal with the findings.
According to Mueller's report, on Saturday, June 17, 2017, Trump called McGahn and directed him to have the Special Counsel removed.

"Although damaging opposition research is surely valuable to a campaign, it appears that the information ultimately delivered in the meeting was not valuable", the report says.

Asked whether the offenses are impeachable, Nadler told NBC, "If proven, some of this would be impeachable, yes".
"They've gone to great lengths to show, I think, a devastating portrait", she said.
