Struggling Indian airline Jet Airways has reportedly cancelled all its worldwide flights today, after it grounded 10 aircraft yesterday for financial reasons.
At the same time, Jet also cancelled domestic flights between Mumbai and Kolkata and Kolkata and Guwahati for Friday due to operational reasons.
Jet Airways said its Mumbai-Kolkata, Kolkata-Guwahati and Dehradun-Guwahati via Kolkata stand cancelled for Friday due to "operational reasons". Jet Airways' last remaining long-haul flights, to London, Paris and Amsterdam, were cancelled on Thursday evening.
The airline is also cancelling more domestic flights, raising doubts about its survival over the next few days even as the stake sale process continues.
