Defeating the Golden State Warriors is HUGE for the Young Phoenix Suns

Golden State leads the league in scoring this season, averaging 118.3 points per game. The Suns' rookie big man referred to two-time defending champion Golden State as a "five-headed dragon" - a nod to its starting lineup fully comprised of All-Stars - and reiterated that he plays as the Warriors whenever he fires up the National Basketball Association 2K video game. The Suns defeated Golden State for the first time since a 107-95 victory on November 9, 2014, and earned their first road win in 20 tries against the Western Conference this season.

The Golden State Warriors suffered one of their worst losses of the season Sunday night when they were defeated by the Phoenix Suns 115-111 at Oracle Arena. Even putting aside the surprising loss and late-game injury to Kevin Durant, Warriors coach Steve Kerr was obviously frustrated with a number of things throughout this game. Last night, the Warriors gave up a 16-point first-half lead and could not contain Devin Booker. But they must know that if the right players are brought in, and that talent meshes with the existing (and remaining) talent, then maybe they can compete for a playoff spot as early as next year. "We need that energy from them because we feed off that". "You can't bring it every night, but still it helps".

WR Jackson heading back to Eagles, per sources
Jackson was set to make $10 million for the Bucs in 2019 with a full $10 million cap hit, but no dead money if released. He averaged 18.9 yards per catch last season, despite the turmoil at the quarterback position in Tampa Bay last season.

Golden State shot just 10-for-43 on 3-pointers, with Thompson and Curry going 4-for-15 apiece, Durant 1-for-4 and Cousins 0-for-3.

How can a four-point loss to the Suns be infinitely worse than the 33-point beatdown by the Boston Celtics last week? It's an uncomfortable feeling, which I think we like right now.

Eusebio Di Francesco Parts Ways With Roma
Tiquinho opened the scoring in the 21st minute as Daniele De Rossi equalized from the penalty spot. Both matches can be streamed via fuboTV (Try for free).

Midway through the fourth quarter of Sunday night's game, the Warriors and their fans held their breath. "We talked about the things we need to get better at going into the playoffs and just haven't done it".

Overall, though, the Warriors are in a bit of a funk.

Zidane named Real Madrid coach
Zidane revealed that Perez was an important reason as to why he returned to the club, despite resigning less than a year ago. There is currently no news on where and what the Portuguese will do now and if next season we will see him with a new club.
