Texas authorities on Sunday captured the professional MMA fighter known as "Spiderman" who escaped from a transport vehicle nine hours earlier.

Marks (left) is seen being escorted by plain-clothed deputies.

The prisoner, identified as 44-year-old Cedric Joseph Marks, escaped from a "private prisoner transport" in Conroe around 7:30 Sunday morning. Marks was found hiding in a trash can and surrendered without incident, Conroe police said on their Facebook page.

The Montgomery County (Texas) Sheriff's office did not reveal which three murder charges Marks is facing. Scott and her friend, Michael Swearingin disappeared on January 4 and their bodies were found in Clearview, Okla., on January 15.

No offers for Arsenal-linked Perisic, say Inter
Inter Milan are reportedly looking to get rid of Ivan Perisic after a poor start to the season. BBC Sport understands Inter would be prepared to do business for between £35m-£40m.

Bell County officials are working out plans to bring Marks back to Bell County, Maj.

Of note is the mention of murder charges, which is the first official indication that Marks may be a suspect in the deaths of Scott and Swearingin.

'Each time he allowed me to regain consciousness and then he choked me out again, ' Scott said in an affidavit. The protective order request was denied.

Scott, who sought a protective order against Marks, filed a complaint against him after an incident reportedly occurred in August 2018 at her home in the 7700 block of Redbrush. She also said she had her phone in her hand, and Marks took it from her and threw it.

Another Marks ex-girlfriend, April Pease, the mother of his child, disappeared in 2009 in Minnesota. The two were involved in a fierce custody dispute in Washington state and Pease went to a protected location with their son because she said she was afraid of Marks. Last month, he was arrested in MI for allegedly breaking into Scott's home in Temple, Texas, according to KCEN.

Ginell McDonough, who is Marks' wife and the mother of two of his two children, is jailed in Muskegon County, Michigan, on an obstruction of justice charge. She is accused of allowing Marks and Maya Maxwell (right) to stay in her home between January 5 and January 9.

Maya Maxwell was charged with evidence tampering and jailed in Texas on a $US150,000 ($209,880) bond.
