One Twitter user explained just why this boycott needs to happen: "To those who don't understand why we have to STOP streaming 7 rings, buwygfib NEEDS to debut at #1 to make ariana the only artist in HISTORY to debut 3 songs at #1. y'all can go back to streaming 7 rings after break up debuts at #1".

Understandably, it would take more than the turn of a calendar to shake the feelings that linger with Grande through this album.

It is a credit to Grande that while she is coming from a place of pain, the darkness never overwhelms.

The singer responded to the hashtag saying, "y'all are so insane and amusing and i love u".

George Clooney Comes to Meghan Markle's Defense
And the first thing out of her mouth is, 'How are the kids?" "You watched me silently suffer at the hands of your vicious lies. The letter runs five pages and details Meghan's heartbreak over her father's interviews with the British press and tabloids.

"7 rings", which was written by Grande and her best friends, was actually inspired by a trip to Tiffany & Co.

Thank U, Next is an exercise in honesty, vulnerability and healing, told with some beautifully controlled vocals, hip-hop swagger and admirable resilience. But I think I realize now that Grande was purely not given the proper room to be herself and showcase her real, unfiltered talent and confidence.

The next track, "bad idea", is about Grande trusting her intuition and just acting on impulse, even if her decisions are bad for her. The hi-hats in this track don't do it justice and while the song had potential, the instrumentals needed something more to really make it ideal. This song is an ode to the grief she felt over his loss and how she felt guilty that she was still in love with him while engaged to Davidson.

If "Sweetener" was an album about love, healing and light, "Thank U, Next" is its second act, following themes of breakups and independence and Grande exploring being single after a whirlwind of exes. Working on the album alongside Grande were 32 singer-songwriters, some being Max Martin, Scootie, Victoria Monet, and Wendy Rene. The lyrics and the way the melodies flow make the listener feel as if she is singing to that person through their headphones.

She uses the current slang "ghosting", which means breaking off a relationship by ending all communication with no apparent warning or reasoning, as a way to show the trauma of Mac's sudden passing affected her relationship at the time. On Twitter, Grande said the song is about "feeling badly for the person you're with bc [because] you love somebody else". I could listen to that song on a loop for hours-I admit, I have been- and just have myself been completely mesmerized by its production. The video sheds some light on one of the album's most eye-catching track titles and has clocked up more than 9 million views (and counting) since its debut. There's a version with nothing, we're not talking about anything. Grande announced that she had to end their relationship because of problems with Miller's drug addiction. She's conceptualized her boyfriend as flawless, but in reality, she covers up for his mistakes and compromises her happiness for him.

She still manages to be cheeky and flirty, like on Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored, which is exactly what it sounds like.

But no, despite desperate requests, she will not be boycotting her own single.

She is seriously into her career. Overall, there's only one word to describe this album: powerful.
