Singer Mika Singh, Held In UAE For Allegedly Harassing Teen, In Court

Mika was detained after a Brazilian minor girl had filed a complaint against him for alleged harassment.

Reports say the singer sent her obscene pictures.

Last week, Trump told the New York Post that a pardon for his former campaign chairman Paul Manafort was not off the table. Manafort was hit with the same obstruction charges and pleaded guilty in September.

According to Republic TV, a 17-year-old Brazilian girl had accused him of sending an inappropriate picture. Mika was reportedly picked up from Bur Dubai, a historic and commercial district with many hotels, around 3 am on Thursday. Later, the Dubai police confirmed that the singer is in their custody. "We have not been approached so far and we believe that he is in Abu Dhabi", Indian Consulate sources told Gulf News.

The Indian Consulate has not been contacted yet by Dubai police officials or Mika's team.

After arriving in Dubai, Mika had taken to Instagram to write, "Hey Dubai. I'm in your city and it's the 1st time I'm here to attend the most popular awards the #masalaawards.See you tonight!".
