Rocco the parrot has formed a relationship with his owner's voice-activated Amazon Echo.

Wishnewksi told Daily Mail that Alexa not only talks to Rocco and provides him company, but she also plays his favorite songs.

"Rocco and Alexa chat away to each other all day".

According to the report, Rocco ordered his favourite snacks including watermelons, raisins, broccoli and ice cream, along with a light bulb and a kite.

Thankfully for Marion's bank balance, the parental lock on Alexa has prevented Rocco's various orders to go through, but she says she is often finding rescheduled events or items added to her grocery list.
