In the event of victory over Dereck Chisora it was considered a near-formality that Whyte would fight the IBF, WBA and WBO heavyweight champion at Wembley on April 13.

But Joshua's priority of agreeing an undisputed title fight against Deontay Wilder remains a barrier for Whyte, and was the cause of a post-fight dispute between the old rivals who first boxed three years ago.

The end of the fight was chilling, Whyte knocked Chisora out cold with a left hook in the 11th round.

PSG's Rabiot agrees Barcelona deal, according to Le Parisien
With the likes of Paul Pogba and Aaron Ramsey linked with the club it seems the club will be busy in negotiating with the player. L'Equipe states that talks of an agreement with Barcelona are untrue, something which has also been pushed by the Catalan media.

He was expected to be confirmed as the next challenger to Joshua at Wembley on April 13, but potentially faces an anxious wait while the IBF, WBA and WBO heavyweight champion considers instead fighting in the U.S. for the first time.

"Rematch, let's go", Whyte said to the champ, who he lost to in 2015 (via BBC). Joshua wanted Whyte to confront him man to man as their bitter rivalry only increases fight by fight.

Whyte will regardless remain at world-level as one of the division's leading contenders and a likely future challenger to Joshua, but if he is forced to wait could struggle to maintain the impressive momentum he has built.

See the pair's friendly exchange below. There's a victor and a loser - you know what I'm saying?

It was Whyte's third win of the year, coming on the back of his controversial points decision against Parker in late July. He's got four of the belts but if I'm mandatory for one or two of them and he doesn't fight me, they will strip him at some point. We haven't got long (to make Joshua's next fight). "Because I showed him some respect", said a clearly-annoyed Joshua. I need to keep working hard, winning fights and it will happen. This time around, Whyte knocked out Chisora in the eleventh round of a back-and-forth match. It gotta come right back.

"Dillian, let's forget what happened in the past in that fight", Joshua said.

The Raptors recovered the ball and Green sealed it with a pair of free throws. "Just poor execution down the stretch". The Raptors took just their second lead of the night with 26.4 seconds to play off a Fred VanVleet three pointer.
