Multiple outlets report that Whisper, the Queen's last living corgi, died around one week ago at Windsor Castle. 92-year-old monarch feared that after her death they remain without a mistress.

When Bill died in 2016, the Queen took on Whisper to return the favour.

The Queen is known for her handsome gaggle of dogs, especially the corgis that have been a constant in her life since she got her first as a gift at 18. It is not known what the cause of death was.

The Duke later travelled to Colo-i-Suva Forest Park, where he planted a tree and unveiled a plaque to mark its dedication. Vendors were selling watermelons, pineapples and other fruit at the market, as well as handicrafts and fans.

"Whisper was a friendly chap and followed her everywhere", a source tells the Mail.

The little dogs with pointy ears, often sandy-coloured, have been a constant presence in Queen Elizabeth II´s court, following her from room to room in Buckingham Palace and featuring prominently in official photos. Susan herself was a gift to the queen (who was then a princess) on her 18th birthday.

It comes only a few months after Queen Elizabeth lost her corgi Willow, the last of the descendants of her first corgi Susan, which was gifted to her on her 18th birthday. At Sandringham, Her Majesty also has her group of Labradors, with whom she spends time whenever she stays at her English estate. Her father, King George VI, introduced her to the little dogs when he brought Dookie to the family in 1933. These two played the Queens dogs in a Canadian stage play.

"This group obviously stays exciting until the end, I think that was clear from the draw", added Klopp. I saw him celebrating but I couldn't see his face from that distance.

The pair reportedly grew very close in the last two years and sources said the Queen is "deeply saddened" by the loss, according to The Daily Mail.

Although she still has two dogs, Candy and Vulcan, they are dorgis, dachshund and corgi crosses.
