Trump on Tuesday changed his tune about Christine Blasey Ford, the woman who said Brett Kavanaugh pushed her onto a bed, groped her and tried to remove her clothes when they were teenagers.

Reiterating his support for Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh, accused of sexual misconduct, President Donald Trump has said it is a "difficult" and "scary" time for young men in the US.

Addressing the Senate Judiciary Committee, Blasey Ford spelled out some key details of the incident at a party in a private home, saying she was absolutely certain that Kavanaugh was the attacker.

Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith was rushing to a vote when a woman shouted at her: "Do you believe survivors?" 'I don't remember.' How many years ago was it?

"Simply put, Ms. Keyser does not know Mr. Kavanaugh and she has no recollection of ever being at a party or gathering where he was present, with, or without, Dr. Ford", Mr. Walsh said.

"What neighbourhood was it in?"

Imitating Ford, he added, "But I had one beer - that's the only thing I remember".

RBI keeps repo rate unchanged at 6.5%
It was further boosted when Fed chairman Jerome Powell suggested that moving beyond neutral interest rates was a possibility. However, without any clear signals from the central bank, the rupee crashed to all-time low before settling at 73.34.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has said the Senate will vote on Kavanaugh's confirmation this week after each senator is given a report on the ongoing FBI investigation.

Senator Dianne Feinstein of California, the top Democrat on the Judiciary Committee, said the new Federal Bureau of Investigation interview material might be of no value because Kavanaugh, Ford and witnesses identified as corroborators by Ramirez were not interviewed.

Sen. Joni Ernst, R-Iowa, said Ford's story hasn't been corroborated and people should be presumed innocent until proved guilty. "He is a profile in cowardice".

Republican senator Jeff Flake is among those who have taken issue with comments Mr Trump made.

Mr Kavanaugh denies any wrongdoing. "We expect the Senate to vote and hope they do that soon", she said.

Still undecided on backing the conservative judge - whose appointment to the crucial, lifelong post has fueled a bitter partisan clash - Senator Susan Collins weighed in to denounce the president's comments ridiculing Christine Blasey Ford as "just plain wrong".

"There's no time and no place for remarks like that", he said on NBC's Today show.

Cristiano Ronaldo takes break from Portugual's upcoming matches
Ronaldo offered her clothing and then followed her into a bathroom where she was going to change clothes, it said. Santos used the 33-year-old team captain's absence last month to try out younger players in the senior side.

"I wish he hadn't done it", Sen. But certainly she was a very credible witness.

"The woman has been accommodated by all of us, including Senate Judiciary Committee", Conway told reporters. I just want it to work out well for the country.

Flake didn't say whether he'll vote to confirm Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.

White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders dismissed the widespread view that Trump mocked Ford.

As Republicans fight headwinds ahead of the November 6 midterm elections, Trump sought to rally his supporters behind Republican Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith, who was appointed to fill the seat of Thad Cochran, who retired in April.

"Certainly the testimony by Dr. Ford was compelling, but you can't make this decision based on emotion". And his supporters, by and large, seemed to have stuck with him through the allegations against him even if they find those allegations distasteful.

At 8 AM Thursday morning, Chairman Grassley will review the report for one hour.
