Television footage of Sayoc in custody showed a muscular man in a sleeveless black shirt with close-cropped black hair.

A man who operates a property management office near the Florida auto parts store where the mail bomb suspect parked his van said the suspect didn't resist when armed police officers swarmed and arrested him. He was arrested, aged 29, on a theft charge.

The packages sent by Sayoc included photographs of his intended targets, each one marked with a red X, according to the criminal complaint.

There is nearly no doubt as to what this man's political affiliation is, but we have not heard from the authorities how or if that relates to these bombings targeting high-profile Democrats and CNN.

President Donald Trump criticized the media in his call for civility for the second time at a rally this week.

As previously reported, explosive packages were sent to Democrats, including former President Barack Obama, former Vice President Joe Biden, and Hillary Clinton.

Cops swarmed Cesar's van that was filled with political stickers including faces of Hillary Clinton, Michael Moore, CNN's Van Jones Cesar and the president.

18 killed as Jordan flash flood sweeps away students on trip
Later on his Twitter account, he appeared to suggest there had been something amiss in the school's application to run the trip. Dozens more were missing, students and civilians whose bus was swept away by flash flooding as they were traveling there.

Inside each of the packages sent to four of the potential targets - Obama, former Central Intelligence Agency director John Brennan, Soros and Waters - was a picture of the individual with a red "X" mark, according to the 11-page complaint signed by Federal Bureau of Investigation special agent David Brown.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Sayoc worked in adult entertainment. "This guy had an air about him that was unsettling", he said.

"There was something really off with him".

"There are unsafe, crazy, deranged people in this world", he said. Sayoc did not want to talk and quickly demanded a lawyer, the official said. "He was very, very unusual". The company did eventually suspend Sayoc's account, but it wasn't until after he'd been arrested. But they were uncertain whether the devices were poorly designed or never meant to cause physical harm.

Another Twitter post references the former chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, whose return address was used for the packages containing pipe bombs.

Sayoc posts another Twitter message vilifying Soros.

President Trump blames mail bombs for hurting Republicans in midterm elections
Trump tweeted a baseless conspiracy theory on Friday suggesting that the bombs were a plot to thwart GOP momentum in the midterms. Many responsible democrats accuse on the contrary, the u.s. president of "condone violence" and to stir up divisions.

As he departed for a campaign rally in Charlotte, Trump predicted GOP candidates in House races will do better than predicted.

"Happy Birthday greatest Commander Chief disruptor shake Washington upside down", it said.

"Thank you for your recent report".

Most of the posts on Sayoc's Twitter feeds were retweets of right-wing memes attacking Democrats and dark conspiracy theories. "But this one was a little more concerning to me because it was seeming to be a threat on my life or a threat on my safety, or possibly even a threat for my loved ones".

Sayoc studied at Brevard College in North Carolina for three semesters in the early 1980s, but did not graduate, according to the college. Using the same account, Sayoc identified himself as a member of the Seminole Tribe of Florida and as an employee of Hard Rock Live, which is owned by the tribe.

A federal law enforcement source said charges would likely be brought by federal prosecutors in Manhattan and Sayoc transferred to New York City.
