Drew Brees becomes NFL all-time yards passing leader

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees passed Peyton Manning and became the NFL's career passing yardage leader in a big-time way with a 62-yard touchdown pass to rookie Tre'Quan Smith to give the Saints a 26-6 lead in the second quarter of Monday night's game against the Washington Redskins. Brees hugged coach Sean Payton and his family on the sidelines.

Brees entered the game third all-time in passing yards with 71,740 before passing No. 2 Brett Favre (71,838).

And a few pass-catchers and defenders alike.

Nokia 7.1 initial review: Pure Android, big screen, modest price
The Nokia 7 .1 will be available from JB Hi-Fi (including SIM-only plans) and Harvey Norman from October 17 with an RRP of $499. The Nokia 7 .1, which was launched yesterday with Android 8.1 Oreo will also get the Android 9 Pie update sometime November.

The game continued after with the Saints unsuccessfully attempted a two-point conversion - with Brees notably split out as a receiver, at least in theory, while backup quarterback Taysom Hill took the snap and tried to run into the end zone. He finished the game completing 26 of 29 passes for 363 yards and three touchdowns.

On a more serious note, Manning said Brees broke the record "the right way".

Saints officials said Brees also would hand his uniform over to the Hall of Fame after the game.

Chelsea's Maurizo Sarri - I hope Alvaro Morata's goal can 'restart' season
In addition, the subscribers of BT Sport will be able to stream the match live on the mobile app or via online video player. "He ( Hazard ) is an outstanding player".

Brees came into Week 5 not only leading the NFL in completion percentage, but with a mark higher than the 72.0 he posted past year, which set a single-season league record. As Teddy Bridgwater ran onto the field and Brees trotted to the sideline, Brees got one last ovation before fans began chanting: "Who dat say dey gonna beat dem Saints". Brees also led the National Football League a year ago in completions (386) and yards per attempt (8.1), and while his passing yardage and touchdowns were down from previous seasons, that reflected in large part the fact that his Saints were unusually effective in 2017 on defense and at running the ball.

Any hope Washington had of coming back was all but snuffed out when Justin Hardee, a special teams regular who was in the game because of Marshon Lattimore's concussion symptoms, snagged Alex Smith's underthrown pass at the Saints' 19-yard line and returned his first career interception to the Washington 4.

Brees still needs 42 touchdown passes to surpass Manning's record of 539, something the Saints quarterback could achieve next season if he maintains his current level of play. Thanks to you, that's over now, and you've ruined that for me.

Hamilton takes giant step to F1 title
Verstappen finished hot on the heels of Bottas, while his Red Bull teammate Daniel Ricciardo recovered from 15th to fourth. If Hamilton finishes 7th though, even if Vettel does not score, the title fight will move to Mexico.

"It's great to have him back", Payton said, stressing the Ingram's presence reduces the physical toll on fellow running back Alvin Kamara. He also owns 5 of the 9 single seasons with 5,000 or more yards passing.
