The trailer for the film Fantastic Beast: The Crimes of Grindlewaldrevealed the casting of the character Nagini - in human form, years before she eventually became Lord Voldemort's snake and that all-important Horcrux - to be the actor Claudia Kim.

Kim herself disagrees and has expressed excitement about the role, telling Entertainment Weekly that "it will be so interesting to see another side of Nagini", and that the character is so much more than just Voldemort's snake.

The sequel to Fantastic Beasts is on its way, and fans got a final look at the film before it drops this fall.

The final trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald features quite a major character reveal, one which has sent shockwaves through the Harry Potter fandom.

J K Rowling confirmed a fan theory which deduced that Rowling included a passage in the fourth Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, to troll people who mispronounced Hermione's name. Culkin started his pitch by backing Rowling up on her decisions.

Directed by David Yates, from a screenplay by J.K. Rowling, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald lands in theaters November 16. Rowling also stated in one of her tweets that Nagini is not an Animagus, but a Maledictus.

The "Fantastic Beasts" films are all set long before the timeline of Draco Malfoy and Harry Potter, but maybe Culkin could play Grandpa Malfoy.

The Maledictus is new to the Harry Potter universe.

In an effort to thwart Grindelwald's plans, Albus Dumbledore (Law) enlists his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead.

"I can not move against Grindelwald", Dumbledore replies, hinting not only at their childhood friendship, but also, as revealed by Rowling, their romance.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald is set to be released in the United States on November 18, 2018.

While she has kept quiet on the Dumbledore thing, Rowling defended Kim's casting on Twitter by noting that the character Nagini was always Asian as it is based on "the Naga" from Indonesian mythology.
