Angela Hernandez, from OR, was found by hikers on Friday evening after they saw the wreckage of her SUV partially submerged at the bottom of a 200ft (61m) cliff in the Big Sur area.
The San Francisco Chronicle reports that she was found Friday by hikers in the remote area, seven days after she went over the cliff.
An extensive, days long search for a missing OR woman ended in an incredible rescue off the Big Sur coast this weekend, according to a report by KION 5 in Monterey.
Hernandez told investigators that she plunged off the 200 ft (60m) cliff after swerving to avoid hitting an animal on Highway 1. Angela Hernandez, 22, of Portland, injured her shoulder but was able to walk and talk, said John Thornburg, public information officer for the sheriff's office in Monterey County, California.

Sheriffs said she had told her sister she would stay overnight in a vehicle park before continuing her journey the next morning, but they had not heard from her after 6 July.
